 File Specifications
For Web Design & Website Updates

General Information
All images and text must be provided to Webeclectic.com in the form of electronic files. If you're working on a Mac, please make sure all files have valid file extensions. Please also be sure there are no spaces or extra punctuation in file names.

For website update requests, if your files are under 10MB all together, please email all text and artwork files along with directions to support@webeclectic.com If you files are over 10MB, please use YouSendIt.com to email files to the same email address. This free service provides us with a link so we can download large files without causing mailbox quota issues. If e-mailing multiple files together, please zip or stuff multiple files into one archive.

If you are mailing a CD or photo ready artwork, Webeclectic.com accepts copies only, NO ORIGINALS. This ensures that the client has access to their original content at all time, and that it does not have to be mailed back and forth, risking loss of or damage to an original.

Please spell check your text and provide it in a format that can be copied and pasted to avoid typos. Webeclectic.com does not accept text that must be scanned or re-typed.

Save Money on Updates

If we didn't design your website, we can still update it as long as we have direct FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or WordPress login access to the site. In this case, since we didn't create the original artwork, your updates will most cost-effective if you can provide us with the layered Photoshop (.psd) files for the original artwork and TrueType or OpenType fonts. We can re-create artwork and match fonts closely, but this process is more time consuming and can result in higher update costs.
